Be a CONFIDENT Woman

Not everyone wants to be a model on the cover of a magazine, but every #woman somehow wants to feel that they could be if they wanted to. We want to think we can be confident enough to hold a pose, make eye contact with any lens we face and be open to scrutiny of any kind.
And we can. All it takes is just some confidence.

Turn down all the negative voices in your life
It could be your mother/sister/friend/partner/boss. Negative comments are always going to give you pause, make you doubt. And the more you hear the more you pause and doubt, until pretty soon you cannot do anything right anymore. Turn off the negative talk. Refuse to listen to it.
Discover yourself
Sometimes it feels like we know more about our BFFs than ourselves. Who are you? Get to know yourself as if getting to know a friend. You’re worth the attention. You’ll be surprised to discover you have probably been selling yourself short.

Set the real you free
Have you been bending over backwards trying to please everyone and anyone, while compromising your worth, beliefs or abilities? Cut it out. Be yourself. Be who you know you can be. Stop holding yourself back and soar.
Stand up for yourself
Don’t back down from what you feel and believe to be true. Allow yourself to be adamant, even when you are in the minority. Don’t let yourself be tempted to fit in. Stand out. Take your own side, be your own cheerleader.

Give yourself a break
Confidence is not perfection. You will be wrong sometimes, you will make mistakes too. But that doesn’t make you any less special than you really are. You are you, flaws and all. Embrace them, keep your head high.
